Psychologiepraktijk Vitallis

Cognitive behavioral therapy

Its main objective is to teach how to deal with emotions through cognitive (thinking) and behavioral skills, modifying distorted cognitions and destructive patterns of behavior.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

ACT is an empirically based psychological intervention that uses acceptance and mindfulness strategies with commitment and behavior change strategies to increase psychological flexibility.

Face to face therapy

It is the original modality of psychological care. It allows the psychologist to analyze small signs of the patient’s body language, not just facial expressions.

Online therapy

Online therapy is ideal for dealing with simpler psychological and psychosocial demands and for those who live far from the clinic and are unable to attend sessions in person.

Payments and reimbursement

Duration and frequency of the sessions

Individual consultations always take at least 45 minutes. It is possible to reserve more time in advance.

For couples, the consultation lasts 1.5 hours.

Aanvullende verzekering

It is not necessary to request a medical referral letter. If your request for help does not fall under a DSM-V diagnosis, an invoice will be sent 24 hours before the scheduled time or monthly in advance, as agreed between the patient and the therapist. It is possible to receive reimbursement for treatments without medical referral letter through “aanvullende verzekerin”.

Through this link you can check if your health insurance reimburses part of the costs of private care through “aanvullende verzekering”.

There will be no charge of “eigen risico” for treatments through “aanvullende verzekering”.

Basisverzekering

It is necessary to request a referral letter from the general practitioner. If there is a DSM-V diagnosis, treatments can be reimbursed in the BGGZ or SGGZ in collaboration with a coordinating psychologist. The patient will receive a monthly bill for the care provided, which he must submit to the health insurance. How much the patient will get back from the insurance depends on the type of policy.

To receive reimbursements, the patient must first pay the “eigen risico”. For more information about “eigen risico” (own risk), contact your health insurer.

We have no contracts with health insurers. In this way, how much the patient will get back from the insurance depends on the type of his/her policy (contract). Through natura polis, the patient will be reimbursed less than with a restitutie polis. More information about contract free psychologists can be found at the Contract-free psychologist website.

The costs of consultations via basic insurance are built up in direct and indirect minutes.

Direct minutes: The time spent with the patient in a face-to-face or virtual session (the number of minutes scheduled by the patient).

Indirect minutes: the time spent on the administrative tasks of the patient’s case, when the patient is no longer present at the consultation.

The patient receives a bill with the sum of direct and indirect minutes.

We use the legally established fees from the Nederlandse Zorg Autoriteit NZA

Zorgprestatiemodel

As of 1 January 2022, the GGZ and Forensic care switched to a new financing system, the so-called “zorgprestatiemodel”. For more information about this, click on: ZPM

Private

It is not necessary to request a medical referral letter and there will be no reimbursement of any kind.

Send us an e-mail for the current values.

Cancellation

Cancellations and changes in dates and time of sessions must be done at least 48 hours in advance.

If the patient cancels the appointment within 48 hours, the full amount of the session will be charged.

Waiting list

There is no queue for treatments through “aanvullende verzekering” or private.

There is a waiting list of about 6 months for treatments through “basisverzekering”.
